As Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports with reference to the Kaiyi press service, the E5 sedan in the new standard version will go on sale in a limited edition. The new product gets halogen headlights instead of LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels and a 3.5-inch monochrome screen on the dashboard, retains heated washer nozzles, but loses interior contour lighting, an electric sunroof and wireless charging for a smartphone.
In addition, the “standard” configuration loses front side airbags, automatically folding mirrors, and instead of the all-round viewing system, only the reversing camera remains. Instead of artificial leather seats, the Standard gets fabric upholstery, the driver’s seat loses the six-way adjustment, there is only one armrest at the front and two USB connections.
The cost of the limited version is 2,110,000 rubles. Kaiyi E5 in the Luxury trim costs 2,115,000 rubles, Luxury+ costs 2,160,000 rubles and the top-end Luxury Sport costs 2,193,000 rubles.
