According to the Telegram channel of the Moskvich plant, the new model can be purchased with a choice of two power plants. The first option is a 136 hp turbo engine. Of. and a torque of 200 Nm in combination with a continuously variable variator. The second is a turbo engine with a power of 174 hp. Of. and a torque of 280 Nm combined with a dual-clutch robot transmission.
The first unit is conducive to quiet travel with comfort, and the second is aimed at lovers of dynamic driving, Moskvich representatives note. The GDI engine features direct fuel injection, dual variable valve timing and high-quality supercharging, giving the liftback “charged acceleration and excellent dynamics with good fuel consumption.”
Wet ‘robot’ clutches are distinguished by “an increased resistance to overheating during active movements or in heavy traffic,” the report clarifies. From the outside, the ‘older’ version can be recognized by the double exhaust pipes.
