This is 5.7 times higher than the figure for the same period last year. In value terms, the purchases of the ‘Chinese’ increased 7.5 times – to 5.65 billion dollars.
In terms of the import volume of Chinese cars, Russia ranks first in the world: our country accounts for about 14% of car exports from China in the mentioned period. In July, compared to June, the delivery volume increased by 2% – to 79.6 thousand units, and “in money” by 3.4% – to $ 1.06 billion. In addition to a steady increase in numbers, there has also been a noticeable increase in model range.
According to Chinese customs data, in 2022 China exported 153.2 thousand passenger cars to Russia for $1.68 billion – three times more than in 2019. The cost of deliveries increased by more than 3.8 times.
