Russian Standard Bank analyzed the expenditure of Russians on various types of transport from July to September this year and found out what our fellow citizens use most
As TASS reports, Russians preferred to travel by bus in the third quarter of this year. The share of travel costs out of the total number of card transactions among the five modes of bus transport remained unchanged compared to the second quarter: 44%.
The share of payments for fuel, repair and maintenance of cars in the total volume of Russian transport costs amounted to 35%, compared to 34% a quarter earlier. Our compatriots began to use taxi services less often – the share of trips in July-September was 17%, while in April-June it was 19%.
The share of payments for train tickets during the tourist season increased to 3% – in the second quarter it was 2%. Finally, air traffic came in fifth place – their share remained unchanged – 1%.
