Next year, the Chinese company Haval will release a new Veyron crossover. It is unclear whether the name is related to racer Pierre Veyron, after whom the famous French hypercar is named, but it is known that the new product will be placed one step above the Raptor in the model line.
As reported by CarNewsChina, citing Haval’s own sources, the seven-seat Veyron crossover will get a Hi4 hybrid transmission, just like the recently introduced Raptor.
The total power of the power plant from a gasoline engine and a pair of electric motors will be approximately 370 hp. The car will travel approximately 115 km on pure electricity. The ITVC intelligent traction vector control system will provide the all-wheel drive SUV with fuel and energy consumption on par with its front-wheel drive counterparts.
The interior of the Veyron will be noticeably more luxurious than that of the Raptor, therefore the crossover will cost more – in China the price will be about 200,000 yuan or 2.7 million rubles at the current exchange rate. However, it is still unknown whether a new product with a big name will appear in Russia.
