Evolute has introduced a new i-JET crossover with an electric powertrain with a peak power of 646 hp. Of. and torque 940 Nm. These parameters give the electric car impressive dynamic characteristics: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.7 to 4.0 seconds, depending on the battery.
According to Evolute’s press office, the i-JET crossover will have two batteries to choose from. The first option is a lithium iron phosphate with a capacity of 80 kWh with a range of 430 km according to the WLTP cycle. This electric crossover needs exactly four seconds to accelerate to ‘hundreds’. The second option is a semi-solid-state battery with a capacity of 90 kWh, which will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, as well as a range of 530 km.
The exterior of the new product is made in the style of biodesign, the manufacturer notes. The curves of the side of the body resemble the silhouettes of dolphins jumping out of the sea, the silhouette of the side window block is made in the shape of a willow leaf, and the front optics resemble the edge of the solar disk during a solar eclipse. The dynamic look is complemented by 20-inch wheels.
In the interior, a potential buyer will find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch touchscreen multimedia system, plus contour lighting with 64 colors to choose from, a head-up display and front seats with eco-leather upholstery, heating, ventilation and massage. The Evolute emphasizes the low drag coefficient of its crossover of just 0.278.
Recommended retail prices and detailed i-JET configurations will be announced later. Pre-orders can already be placed on the website.
