Now a crossover: Lucid has released the premiere date of its second model

American electric car manufacturer Lucid has announced the debut date of the brand’s second model: the Gravity crossover. Like the Air sedan, it will have a low drag coefficient.

According to the Lucid press service, the premiere of the electric crossover will take place on November 16 at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The model, which will be called Gravity, has been delayed from concept status for some time: the crossover was announced more than three years ago. And the new product will hit the production line just one year after its public debut: at the end of 2024.

Externally, the crossover will be similar to the first Lucid model: the Air sedan. From the teasers it is clear that it will also have a narrow head optics, a similar bumper and retractable door handles. The electric car will have a salon with three rows of luxurious seats that can accommodate up to seven people, a multimedia system with Glass Cockpit screens and a modernized interface, as well as a glass roof.

The manufacturer keeps secret what is hidden under the hood of the Gravity – most likely, the power plant will be borrowed from the Air sedan. The electric crossover will be produced at the same factory in Casa Grande, Arizona.
