As Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports with reference to the trade union organization AVTOVAZ, in June an order was issued according to which the company will operate an overtime regime from November 1 to December 31, 2023. However, recently the president of the automotive giant Tolyatti, Maxim Sokolov, suddenly signed order No. 430, canceling the summer order. Now all divisions that produce cars will continue to function normally.
In early October, AVTOVAZ reported that more than 242,000 LADA cars were sold in the nine months of 2023, which is 96% more than the same period last year. And the AvtoVzglyad portal previously wrote that AVTOVAZ insiders complain about an acute shortage of components for car assembly.
