According to the Lada.Online portal, AVTOVAZ has issued order No. 93-23, ordering car dealers to update the software of the universal body electronics unit (UBE) “to ensure the consumer properties” of LADA Vesta sedans and station wagons. The document states that if there is a car from the list on the territory of the dealer center, it is necessary to update the software on it with the mandatory replacement of two electronic keyboards and, if necessary, batteries in accordance with the factory methodology .
All necessary work is carried out free of charge for the car owner as part of the service campaign on the first visit to the LADA dealer. The reason why the software needs to be updated is not stated. Let us remind you that after Renault left Russia, AVTOVAZ replaced the French electronic control units on the LADA Vesta with parts from ITELMA.
