With the update, the Kia Carnival received 12.3-inch dashboard and multimedia system screens combined in one cluster. As with the updated K5 sedan, the displays have lost their visors and a new climate control unit with touch buttons has been borrowed from the same model. The company promises greater comfort thanks to improved sound insulation, improved ride comfort, new shock absorbers and revised suspension settings.
It was previously announced that the updated Carnival had a new corporate identity with L-shaped daytime running lights and vertically positioned headlights. The minivan also received a modified radiator grille, updated bumpers and a slightly different tailgate design with a license plate section at the bottom.
Exact technical specifications have not yet been announced. Home pre-orders in South Korea begin tomorrow, November 8.
