This is LADA Aura, an Iskra car on a new domestic global platform. And in the next two years there will also be a crossover based on the Vesta platform,” said Sokolov.

He recalled that mass production of the updated Vesta began in March 2023, and in August production of the Largus model began, which is now “moving” from Tolyatti to Izhevsk. According to Sokolov, the first pilot series of e-Largus electric vehicles will be produced there before the end of this year; commercial units should hit the production line in 2024.
