
In October, Russians bought 489.1 thousand used passenger cars – 4% less than in September, but 11.9% more than October last year. Traditionally, LADA is the leader – in the second month of autumn, 113.7 thousand Tolyatti cars were sold.
According to the Autostat agency, second place in the brand ranking is occupied by Toyota (55.8 thousand cars). Then come Kia (26.5 thousand) and Hyundai (26.1 thousand). Nissan closes the top five (25 thousand). All brands in the top ten show growth compared to October last year, but a decrease compared to September this year.
And the most popular model on the secondary market in October was the VAZ-2114 – 10.5 thousand cars. In second place is the Ford Focus (10.2 thousand), followed by the Kia Rio (9.3 thousand) and Hyundai Solaris (9.1 thousand). The top five is closed by the VAZ-2107 – 9.1 thousand cars. Sales of ‘Seven’ increased by 2.1% compared to the previous month, and of ‘Niva’ by 1.9%. The remaining models are in red.
