The large crossover of the revived Moskvich brand – model with index 8 – is expected to be presented at the end of next year. To this end, the factory will start production of the youngest SUV, the Moskvich 5.

As production director of the Moskvich plant Oleg Maslyakov said in an interview with RIA Novosti, the brand will launch a number of new models next year. Among them is the D-class crossover Moskvich 8. “It will be presented at the end of next year,” Maslyakov promised.

But first we see the mid-sized crossover Moskvich 5. “We plan that it will be released in the first half of 2024,” said the interlocutor of the publication.

Moskvich is located on the site of the former Renault Russia factory in the capital. The French concern Renault, which stopped working in the Russian Federation, transferred the company to the Moscow government. Now the line of the revived brand includes three models: the Moskvich 3 crossover, the electric version Moskvich 3e and the Moskvich 6 liftback.
