The partner of the Kontinental Hockey League in the 2023/2024 season will be STT Group of Companies, the largest domestic distributor of commercial and passenger equipment. The company will use its transportation resources to carry out massive activities to develop and popularize hockey in Russia, and will also contribute to the KHL’s social campaigns.
At the end of November, a cooperation agreement was signed between the KHL and STT: the distributor of domestic commercial equipment will be directly involved in solving the logistical problems of hockey players, and will also provide support in the development of sports culture. The company also uses its transportation resources to provide athletes with the necessary cars during competitions, domestic championships and the implementation of additional sports and marketing projects. As part of the press conference dedicated to the signing of the partnership agreement, the company donated two Sobol NN minibuses to the League. Another model presented as part of the collaboration is the Valdai 45 tractor, the largest truck in the company’s product line, designed for use as part of a road train with a gross weight of up to 45 tons.
– It is no coincidence that hockey is considered a national sport, uniting people around one of the most vibrant sporting disciplines. Therefore, we base the partnership between us and the KHL on the idea of combining our efforts to develop and popularize hockey in the regions of Russia through the use of effective transport solutions. Supporting sports and a healthy lifestyle is one of the most important activities of our company, and we are confident that joint efforts will help us increase the accessibility of this sport,” said Oleg Markov, General Manager of Modern Transport Technologies Group of Companies.
