
Porsche has published the first photo of the interior of the new generation Macan crossover. The model, which switches to electric power after the generation change, gets three displays in the cabin: a 12.6-inch instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch multimedia touchscreen and a screen of the same size for the passenger.
Despite the three displays, there are still quite a few buttons and switches left in the cabin of the future Macan – including its own climate control unit, heating and ventilation of the seats on the center console. But the main feature of the new crossover will not even be the interior, but the gigantic head-up display – Porsche calls it one of the largest in the automotive industry. The image shown to the driver has a size of 2.2 meters at a distance of ten meters in front of the car.
The upcoming SUV is built on the ‘electric’ PPE platform and will logically share components and assemblies with the Taycan model. The Macan will be equipped with a choice of powertrains, a 100 kWh battery and an 800-volt electrical architecture. Two electric motors on the front and rear axle provide a combined power of approximately 600 hp. Of. — all details will be announced closer to the world premiere, scheduled for early 2024.
