Kaliningrad Avtotor is simply developing at an insane pace the model lines of Chinese brands whose cars it assembles. So today the flagship of the Kaiyi brand, the X7 Kunlun, was presented to the general public, and almost tomorrow the factory workers will be ready to roll out another SUV.

Let us remind you that the Russian Kaiyi model range currently includes the E5 sedan, the compact crossovers X3 and X3 Pro and the recently launched Kaiyi X7 Kunlun. However, although this is a playful issue, it is only the beginning of a long journey for the ‘heavenly’ brand in our country.

After all, as Ivan Bychkov, head of the company’s model development department, told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the brand plans to introduce another SUV on the domestic market by the end of 2024, which will be between the X3 and X7 models to fit.

Moreover, next year we will see a restyling of the three-ruble car. It is understood that the top manager has not disclosed any details about this. But given the pace at which Chinese automakers are expanding into our market, and how quickly our most Western automaker is adapting to the given rhythm, we won’t have to wait long.
