It seems that the long pause in the production of the LADA Largus station wagon, which is in high demand on the Russian market, is coming to an end. AVTOVAZ begins to manufacture various modifications of the model at the facilities of the Izhevsk Automobile Plant.

The first six cars from the pilot batch of LADA e-Largus were assembled in Izhevsk. A total of 30 such vehicles will be produced in the near future at the production facilities where the LADA Vesta was once produced. According to the head of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, the e-Largus is planned to be assembled in two body types: a commercial vehicle and a five-seater commercial vehicle.

According to him, the localization rate of e-Largus is 50%. Although the entire electrical part of the machine is supplied from China, via the Russian company Itelma. The maximum engine power of the electric Largus is 120 kW (about 163 hp) and the nominal power is 50 kW (about 68 hp). The model will be equipped with two types of batteries – with a capacity of 44 and 61 kW. This allows her to travel 300 and 400 km respectively on a single battery charge.

Later, approximately in the spring of 2024, AVTOVAZ plans to organize the production of a gasoline version of the LADA Largus at the Izhevsk Automobile Plant.
