It was announced on December 1 that AVTOVAZ started production of the LADA Niva Legend and Niva Travel SUVs with Euro-5 engines and ABS. Before production resumed, the models underwent all necessary tests, including mountain tests, electromagnetic compatibility tests and use at different temperatures. The manufacturer emphasizes that calibrations and engine control units for the Euro-5 standard were developed in the Russian Federation.
