LG Electronics introduced its new transparent antenna developed for cars. ‘CES 2024’is preparing to introduce it. For the time being, the pre-announced antenna is mounted directly on the windows of the vehicle. With the new antenna produced together with the French glass manufacturer Saint-Gobain Sekurit 5G, Wi-Fi, BluetoothIt will be possible to make radio and satellite connections.

With the recent change in the automotive industry electric cars it’s noticable. LG believes this change will bring about a connectivity revolution in cars. Stating that with this change there will be a need for environments where real-time data exchange can take place in high-tech personal spaces. LG wants to strengthen its position in the market

LG Electronics’ statement noted that the transparent antenna is suitable for various car designs. two different alternatives will be offered. With one of these alternatives, the transparent antenna is placed in the glass, while with another alternative this is the case as a film on glass shown as implementation. Vehicles will therefore later be able to have this antenna system. This system, which can be applied to windows or glass ceilings, means that car designers no longer have to think about antennas.
