There has been a new development regarding the “Communiqué on the Import of Certain Electric Vehicles,” which almost completely prevents the import of electric cars from China. With the new notice published in the Government Gazette today (December 31, 2023), thus The conditions that made imports impossible have been completely removed.

Just a reminder for those who don’t know yet; In the previously published circular, the following conditions had to be met in order to import electric vehicles:

• In 7 regions of Turkey at least 20 service points will have to install
• The personnel who will work in the service center must have certificates approved by TSE or the Vocational Qualification Authority. to the authorization certificate will have to have it.
• The brand has at least 40 employees call center will determine.
• Brand to Turkey authorized representative will name.
• Brand on vehicles will follow the batteries.

The new communiqué has removed the obstacles to the import of electric vehicles

The new regulation continues the requirement to establish at least twenty service points in seven regions of Turkey, but this condition only applies to the points defined in the Highway Traffic Regulation. M class and will be mandatory for classes L6 and L7 with class M vehicle equipment. M class vehicles MOPED also called, Vehicles whose speed does not exceed 45 km/h Let’s say this is so.
