The Chinese brand JAC performed very strongly at the CTT exhibition in the capital, showing several fundamental novelties at the same time. Among them is a truck of the new N200 series. The AvtoVzglyad portal tells how this car works.

Gone are the days when Chinese manufacturers shamelessly copied the best European designs. However, the new JAC N200 is reminiscent of modern Scania with its powerful grille and versatile LED headlights. But only from a distance – close-up, the debutant is absolutely original!

The car is equipped with a 270 hp 6.7-litre Cummins turbo diesel, which is mated to an eight-speed manual transmission. The chassis has several versions in length (7.6, 9.2 and 10.5 meters), but the total weight of all versions is approximately 20 tons with a payload of 13-14 tons.

The price of the novelty by modern standards is quite reasonable 8,000,000 rubles. And for 10,000,000 you can buy an exhibition copy equipped with an XCMG crane. It can lift loads from 400 kilograms to eight tons, and the boom length is almost 20 meters.

The Russian office of the JAC brand plans to start selling the “200” in a few weeks. And it is clear that they will find their buyer as a replacement not only for the “Europeans”, but also for domestic K4 series KamAZ trucks, which are forced to leave the podium.
