The document must be drawn up in relation to any event that has caused damage to the passenger’s life, health or property during the journey. If the certificate is drawn up by a transport company, it must exist in three copies: one kept by the carrier, the second by the victim and the third by the insurer.

And if the document is prepared by a representative of a taxi aggregator, a fourth copy of the act is also required. One of them will be kept by the taxi delivery service, the second will be provided to the carrier within one working day from the date of the event, the third must be provided to the victim within five working days from the date on which the carrier or taxi delivery service was contacted, and the fourth is sent to the insurer, the bill says.

The changes will come into effect on September 1, 2024.
