Experts in the car market estimate the turnover of the used car market at a serious figure of 500,000 used cars sold per month. The piece is, I must say, tasty. But only 100,000 are sold through car dealers. That is, hundreds of millions of rubles pass through official sellers in one form or another. The Chinese company Pango Cars seriously intends to correct the situation and at the same time make the secondary market more civilized and, very importantly, save potential buyers of used cars from the risk of buying scrap cars or a legal car brand. “dirty” car.

How are the Chinese doing? Yes, this project grew from the depths of the “heavenly” Chery and is still its division. However, it is positioned as a purely domestic story, which will then have to enter other markets. Such as the Omoda brand, for example. Conceived and implemented by us, “Chery” now travels all over the world. As for Pango Cars, says director Anton Ganzha, the company will soon become an independent legal entity to trade used cars at full speed and compete not only with relatively young players in the segment such as Fresh Auto, Fit Service, CarPrice, but also with monsters like avto.ru and avito.ru.

Agree – more than ambitious plans. That is, in Russia, in general, another aggregator for the sale of used cars has appeared. And here, of course, questions arise. How and how does he want to win over the broad car masses, and why does this mass need him? And here the newcomer to the segment pulls out its trump cards: certification (that is, an examination of the condition and, in the absence of fatal defects, an annual warranty upon sale) of cars of any brand up to 20 (!) years old and with a mileage of up to 250,000 km; selling insurance policies that are cheaper than those of competitors, even for the same “twenty-year terms”; an incredibly flexible loan system and fair repayment plans, plus a lot of other preferences.

In principle, domestic car enthusiasts are familiar with all these tools (well, except that hassle-free insurance for “old people” and an extended warranty for it have not been seen before in our open spaces). However, the newcomer to the market claims that he has managed to combine them all in one bottle and even added something new that consumers can only like. It sounds delicious, but let’s see what it tastes like.
