The Chinese company Chery shared its ambitious plans to launch a whole range of new models. The upcoming large-scale addition to the product line will impact the Chery, Exeed, Jetour, Shanhai, Fulwin and iCar brands.
According to the Chinese Cars portal, the company has announced eight new products from the Chery brand, ten Exeed, seven Jetour, five Fulwin and eight each from the Shanhai and iCar brands. Chery himself will present four models of the Tiggo line: the updated Tiggo 9, as well as three new-generation crossovers from the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 family. Two special versions are being prepared for the Jaecoo J7, and the Arrizo 5 and Arrizo 8 sedans will undergo restyling. Exeed is preparing a dozen new products: RX, TXL and VX will be updated, and LX, RX and VX will receive hybrid versions.
The EX crossover appears under the sub-brand Exlantix, which, together with the ES sedan, receives a modification with a gasoline engine as a generator. Later the Exlantix minivan appears under the code E08, the crossover X and an unknown car under the code E0V. Jetour will release the updated Dashing, X70 Plus and X90 Plus, as well as the expanded T2. In the third quarter the brand will present the crossover S03, and by the end of the year the T2 will have a “youth” version of the TL and another special version.
The ‘electric’ sub-brand iCar promises eight new products: at least three crossovers and a kind of premium off-road vehicle. In 2025, a few more SUVs and even a coupe will be added. There are eight Shanghai models in development – this is the Jetour with a different design. Finally, the Fulwin sub-brand will launch five new products with hybrid powertrains.
