Rosstandart announced a recall for 32,156 Haval F7 and F7x models sold between December 1, 2022 and December 27, 2023. They found that there was a risk of moisture getting into the wiring harness connector under the driver’s seat.

According to the Rosstandart website, moisture ingress could potentially lead to a short circuit in the electrical wiring and, as a result, the connector to melt. The same wiring harness connector will be modernized on all cars to prevent moisture from entering and causing disastrous consequences.

Vehicle owners will be informed of the need to implement the recall via messages or telephone. As usual in such cases, they will have to take their F7 or F7x to a Haval dealer.

Owners of crossovers assembled by Tula can also independently, without waiting for a notification from the dealer, check their car for the need to adjust the harness – for this they must confirm the presence of the car’s VIN number in a check special list. If it is on the list, you will need to contact the dealer and schedule a visit. Naturally, all work is carried out free of charge for clients.
