Perhaps the most important feature of the updated crossover is the customizable lighting technology – the diode pattern in the housings can be selected from four options in the multimedia system menu, but this is the prerogative of the optional HD Matrix LED laser headlights and organic LED headlights. The Singleframe grille is available in two finishes: Black and Black Plus, three new exterior colors and five wheel options.
The adaptive air suspension or adaptive air suspension sports air suspension lowers the body by 30 mm at high speeds and can raise it by 60 mm. The options list includes a fully controlled chassis, electromechanical stabilizers and an active rear differential.
The range of modifications still includes the diesel 45 TDI (231 hp), 50 TDI (286 hp) and the petrol 55 TFSI (340 hp). All engines work together with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a 48-volt belt-driven starter generator.
The “loaded” version of the SQ7 also retains the twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter gasoline V8 that produces 507 “horses.” From zero to 100 km/h, such a crossover is catapulted in 4.1 seconds, the maximum speed is 250 km/h. Audi notes that for the sake of a sporty sound, the exhaust pipes were fitted with special valves that change the tone of the sound depending on the load and speed.
The start of sales of the updated Audi Q7 in Europe is scheduled for the first quarter of this year. Prices start at 79,300 euros (about 7.7 million rubles at current rates) for the Q7 and 112,000 euros (10.9 million rubles) for the SQ7. In Russia you can find the Q7 copy of the first restyling on sale, for which they now ask from 8.9 to 17 million rubles.
