The factories of the group of companies “United Automotive Technologies”, which were forced to shut down a few weeks ago, have resumed work. The AvtoVzglyad portal is sure that this is a very good sign for the entire Russian car industry.
The machines were launched at Ulyanovsk Avtosveta, Dimitrovgrad Automotive Plant (DAAZ) and Dimitrovgrad Powder Metallurgy Plant (DZPM). Now each division of these enterprises is forced to work according to an individual schedule, but the fact of the revival of production means only one thing: the main consumer of products – AVTOVAZ – vigorously burdened its suppliers with orders.
This leaves us hoping that on June 6, as previously promised, the Russian auto giant will finally be able to break the frankly lengthy production hiatus. This is true for the Togliatti site, but not for the Izhevsk site where LADA Vesta is produced.
It is clear that the “anti-sanction” version of LADA Granta will become the main range for some time to come: without power steering, anti-lock braking system, airbags and with a Euro-2 engine. Since dealers insure the AvtoVzglyad portal, they want to charge a very reasonable price for such a car.
