The restyled LADA Vesta NG was shown to the public on February 22… But after the start of the special operation in Ukraine and the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions by the collective West, AVTOVAZ was without imported car parts, and thus the production of the novelty had to be postponed “until better times”. Portal “AutoVzglyad” tried to find out when they will come.
In fact, LADA Vesta NG was only shown from the outside. In front of the car was a fully-fledged presentation, but as said, the circumstances unfortunately turned out differently. In Izhevsk, they managed to assemble only about six dozen cars, which, according to the UK public “Avtograd News”, have now been sent to dealers.
Only “ordinary” sedans and station wagons of a renewed model are loaded on car transporters: there are no “cross versions” among the shipped cars.
And another novelty from the LADA brand. While the Renault group confidently managed the Russian car giant in recent years, European specialists of various professions willingly got a job at AVTOVAZ. But now expats will have to return to their home country.
