The automotive industry has entered a global electric car transformation process. Although the latest statements from manufacturers show that companies have started to say goodbye to combustion engines and will only offer electric cars for sale for at least the next ten years, it seems certain that we will say goodbye to petrol and diesel cars in the next fifteen years. -20 years. We do not say that cars work with an internal combustion engine, because some manufacturers hydrogen-powered cars He also sees part of the future.

There are still two major problems with electric cars. First, the low range distance. The second is the extremely long charging time. So much so that if you make a mistake (!), like charging your electric car in the parking lot of your house, you can see charging times of 8-10 hours. Even in the most optimistic scenario, electric cars will not be available at stations. Charge 30-45 minutes Needless to say, the fuel cost advantage of electric cars is all but wiped out this time around.

It puts an end to the hours of waiting for charging

Huawei is one of the companies looking for a solution to this charging problem and now, FusionCharge of 720 kW has started installing liquid-cooled charging stations in Turkey in collaboration with Enerjisa and Zebra. According to the information shared by IT Home, 50 FusionCharges will be deployed for drivers by the end of 2024. Huawei would claim “full charging with a cup of coffee” for FusionCharge. So it can be said that FusionCharge promises a full charge in about 10 minutes. The charged electric car must of course also support the technology for this.

The pilot study, which started in Ataşehir, Istanbul, is expected to be expanded mainly in the regions and cities where Enerjisa Üretim’s wind power plant investments are located. The new generation stations will reach a range of 1 kilometer in 1 second. The newly established Charging Hubs will also provide customers with spaces where they can socialise, such as markets, cafes and leisure areas. Charging hub The roof will consist entirely of solar panels and will stand out as a model that produces its own energy. It will also provide green energy certification for the Charging Hub from electricity produced in renewable energy plants.

Most of the charging needs will be covered by solar energy

The technological infrastructure developed, together with the distributors of business partner Zebra Elektronik, will not only be limited to charging passenger cars and SUVs, but will also enable fast charging of vehicles in the light commercial and heavy commercial segments. Moreover, thanks to the fast charging infrastructure that can be integrated with solar energy and energy storage systems. The payload can be dynamically adjusted as needed and can be shared between distributors.

In this way Grid use will decrease and the simultaneity of charging will increase significantly. The liquid-cooled FusionCharge power supply unit, which provides highly efficient, fast and reliable charging with a 10-year lifespan, prevents unexpected grid loads that occur with the increasing penetration of electric vehicles.
