The only reason for frustration is therefore the exclusion of V6 engines from the engine range. The formal successor was a 2.4-liter turbo-four, which loses to the 300 hp “six” in terms of power (279 hp), but bypasses it in terms of torque (430 Nm versus 370 Nm).
At the same time, the novelty came out faster and more economical than its predecessor, so you certainly don’t have to worry about losing two cylinders! In addition, the Japanese have prepared a whole series of hybrid versions, but it is clear that they will not be particularly popular among the Russians.
Overall, the fifth-generation Lexus RX is good for literally everyone, including a reduced curb weight of 90kg. But there is still a serious minus: in the current conditions, it is impossible to predict when such cars will reach our dealers …
