While the central media reports on the excellent economic prospects of the upcoming holiday season for the tourism industry of the Russian Black Sea region, the AvtoVzglyad portal
People of the older generation remember very well that in the time of the Iron Curtain, when the USSR opposed the West, the long-held dream of almost every Soviet person was to spend a vacation on the coast of the Black Sea – as a rule, on a “map” of their own factory / collective farm or some regional commission-house committee … Now, for obvious reasons, the “resorts of the Krasnodar Territory” get about the same meaning for Russians. With the difference that you don’t need tickets to go there. Just pay money and everything will be fine.
In this regard, the media is now talking a lot about the fact that this summer in the Crimea, Sochi, Anapa and other “adlers” will be full of tourists. Moreover, there are already not enough trains and planes for their transport due to the influx of those who want them. As a result, crowds of fellow citizens would have to rush south in their personal cars – along the same M4 Don. A beautiful picture for owners of all types of resort properties.
But the editors of the AvtoVzglyad portal had some doubts about its reality. Because we know very well that the majority of ordinary Russians with finances now, frankly, “not really”, and not everyone is ready to spend money on a full-fledged, and not at all budgetary, summer vacation on the Black Sea.
In this regard, we decided to clarify the picture with the help of a survey of visitors to our site. And so they asked a simple question: “Where are you planning to go on summer vacation with your family”? As a result, it turned out that 37% of respondents in particular chose the answer “Let’s spend a holiday in the country: the seas are now expensive and unsafe.” Slightly less, 36%, said, “Let’s stay at home: there’s not even money for gasoline.” For reference, we add that for a one-way trip with an average passenger car from Moscow to the Rostov region, you need to prepare about 5,000 rubles for gasoline alone. To go directly to the sea through the standard “summer” traffic jams of the Krasnodar Territory, prepare a few more thousand …
In third place in popularity was the option “we tear abroad: it is better to be expensive, but with service.” It was chosen by only 12% of respondents. But still, this is more than 10% of those who gathered by car in Crimea, believing that it would be cheaper to rest there than in Sochi. And only 5% of our readers “sharpen their skis” in this town, even though they know a vacation there will cost quite a bit.
As a result, it turned out that out of more than 1000 of our respondents, 85% will not go to a Black Sea this summer! And the remaining 15% probably won’t cause severe congestion on the M4 Don. Well, at least like it!
