From the city centre to the outskirts; This bike easily transforms from a versatile city bike into a stable road machine.

Powered by Royal Enfield’s proven 650cc twin-cylinder engine, the Shotgun 650 combines contemporary inspiration with signature Royal Enfield elements to create a modern interpretation of the brand.

After the spectacular debut of a very special limited edition motorcycle at Motoverse 2023, the Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition, Royal Enfield debuted it in December 2023 in Los Angeles, California, and now we are going to get it in Bogota, at the official launch of Royal Enfield for Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Panama. The stunning, one-of-a-kind, individual-inspired Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 motorcycle will be available in four unique color options: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Drill Green and Sheet Metal Grey.

Speaking about the bike, Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO, Eicher Motors Ltd., says, “The Shotgun 650 is inspired by our custom community and our years of working with them. It is a retro-futuristic interpretation of what a factory-tuned motorcycle would look like, with pure Royal Enfield DNA. A chameleon-like machine that defies categorization in both form and spirit, the Shotgun 650 is something entirely new and different. It is a blast to ride, with confidence-inspiring ergonomics and excellent handling on city streets, corners and straight highways. “The Shotgun 650 is our attempt to offer niche and new categories of motorcycles to the growing enthusiasts of self-expression.”

Built on the globally proven Royal Enfield 650-Twin platform, the Shotgun 650 is a tribute to the culture of customisation and a new chapter in Royal Enfield design with an exciting vision of the future. With its retro-futuristic design, the Shotgun 650 pays homage to its predecessor, the SG650 concept unveiled at EICMA 2021, and celebrates creativity by acting as a blank canvas for customisation by thousands of riders around the world.

Commenting on the heart of the new motorcycle, its engine, B. Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield, says, “The Shotgun 650 is a unique motorcycle in our portfolio, but at its core is the same pure Royal Enfield motorcycle DNA. The 648cc parallel twin engine powering this machine is a distinctive and versatile platform that can adapt to any type and format of riding. In the groundbreaking new Shotgun 650, this engine delivers an extremely engaging and fun ride with real power, a strong mid-range and ample torque across the board. “We’ve had a blast building and riding the Shotgun 650 and are excited to introduce it to the world of motorcycle expressionists.”

Royal Enfield has become synonymous with customisation. The all-metal construction and simplicity of Royal Enfield motorcycles make them the perfect canvas for customisation. Each Royal Enfield is unique and tells its own story, expressing a rich and inspiring individuality. For decades, these stories have been told by the customisation ecosystem. It is this ecosystem of custom builders and passion for design aesthetics that gave birth to Royal Enfield Custom World, which sparked the idea of experimenting and conceptualising what a fully factory custom Royal Enfield would look like. The idea for the Shotgun 650 was born in the form of the Royal Enfield SG650 Concept, which was unveiled at EICMA 2021. The rousing response and huge interest in the SG650 Concept among the global motorcycling community has further pushed the boundaries that Royal Enfield will explore. a production version of the inspired motorcycle. Inspired by custom, for custom.

In the true spirit of customisation, the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a motorcycle defined by its rider. Its new frame and stand are a blank canvas that defies traditional motorcycle classifications and embraces the personality of its rider. Its modular design allows for easy switching between three modes, from a single seat to a two-seater or a touring bike with storage space. At the turn of a key, the rear seat is removable for maximum flexibility. For those looking for an exciting and aggressive ride, or for those looking for a more relaxed experience, the Shotgun 650 is easy to fit, with an upright, confident riding position that encourages both activities and adapts to each rider’s mood and riding style.

Speaking about the design and development of the Shotgun 650, Mark Wells, Head of Design, said: “Royal Enfield’s history is one of customisation. Our customers have been taking our bikes and customising them for decades. By looking to this rich creative culture for inspiration, we give our designers the freedom to think in the same spirit of unlimited imagination. “The resulting design is fresh and respectful of our heritage and future vision of what a custom Royal Enfield might look like years from now.”

The Shotgun 650 is based on the award-winning Global 650 Twin platform.
