Spare parts have arrived: the Avtotor plant has succeeded in producing Hyundai and Kia . to resume

At the beginning of June, the employees of the inactive Avtotor were offered temporary work – picking berries. Then it seemed that the Kaliningrad conveyor belt would not start soon … But literally only a few weeks passed and the production lines resumed their movement.

Avtotor managed to remove from the European Union car kits that remained on the other side of the border due to the imposition of anti-Russian sanctions – these car components are intended for the production of Hyundai and Kia models. According to TASS, the stock of imported parts will be enough to run the factory in July and August.

“But this is a limited production volume, so it’s too early to talk about the resumption of normal operation of the company,” Avtotor’s press service commented on the situation.

Separately, representatives of the plant thanked the authorities of the Kaliningrad region. It turns out that it was they who helped unlock the stuck containers.

And continue the theme of the Russian car industry. Rumors appeared on the web that AVTOVAZ would soon stop again after a brisk start. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out if the Togliatti conveyor really needed another forced break.
