However, according to a number of other studies, Russian car owners largely regard OSAGO as a useless piece of paper that only protects against a fine for absence. The AvtoVzglyad portal conducted its own investigation and asked the public of our site a question: Do you support administrative arrests of drivers who drive without the infamous policy? As a result, 70% replied “categorically against”. In other words, many of the respondents roll on the country’s roads even without insurance.
