First introduced in Japan in 2016 with the Note e-POWER model, this technology has over time been integrated into several Nissan models such as Kicks, X-Trail and Serena. 42.6% of Nissan vehicles sold in Japan in FY 2023 It had the e-POWER system.
Reached more than 100,000 sales in Europe

Nissan e-POWER technologyWhile it expanded in China in 2021 with the Sylphy e-POWER sedan model, it launched the X-Trail and Qashqai e-POWER models in the European market in 2022. Since January 2024, more than 100,000 e-POWER vehicles have been sold in Europe.
During the same period it was also offered for sale in Turkey. e-POWER modelsmanaged to reach a total sales figure of 12,000 units. Nissan plans to offer this technology to the US and Canadian markets by 2026.
