According to Deadline, Spanish authorities indicated that the businessman committed suicide eight months after his arrest. However, family members rule out such a possibility and continue to insist on a more detailed investigation of the case. Thus, the body is being held up while legal discussions continue.
On Twitter, John’s widow Janice McAfee wrote: “It’s hard to put into words what life was like last year. I still can’t believe John is gone. be buried.”

McAfee was founded in 1987 by programmer John McAfee, was acquired by Intel in 2010 for over $7 billion, and in 2014 the company decided to remove the McAfee name from its software. But in mid-2017, under a new agreement with TPG, the security software was separated from some of Intel’s operations.
