So, in the coming months, part of the VAZ personnel will move to the factories of the Kalashnikov concern, where they will assemble the same legendary Kalashnikov assault rifles and other types of weapons. So far, 80 employees of AVTOVAZ, who previously assembled LADA Vesta, have become interested in the offer to temporarily change workplaces. But there is a possibility that the exchange of personnel will continue.
We add that the downtime of the LADA Izhevsk conveyor, caused by a shortage of automotive components, will last approximately until the fall. At the same time, the LADA Vesta NG restyling family will generally be released no earlier than 2023.
By the way, as previously reported by the AvtoVzglyad portal, AvtoVAZ is now beginning to develop a new automotive platform, the creation of which will take 3-4 years. The aforementioned LADA Vesta will form the basis of the upcoming architecture.
