This Wednesday (29) Amazon Prime Video have released a new teaser trailer for their newest original sci-fi series: paper girls. Based on the comic book series of the same name created by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chianga, the adaptation promises to mix adventure and supernatural teenage tension with time travel.

The series is set in the late 80s and tells the story of four friends who discover a time machine and end up on a dangerous journey through time. It is worth noting that the first season of the series was recorded last year and will consist of eight episodes in total.

Paper girls arrive on the day July 29 in the Amazon streaming directory. Check out the teaser for the new production below.

Cast paper girls

With new actresses, the main line-up of the Paper Girls has replenished. Riley Lai Nelet as Erin Tieng Camryn Jones like Tiffany Quilkin Sofia Rozinski playing Mac Coyle and Lovely Strazza as K. J. Brandman.

Ali Wongwho will play the adult version of Erin and Nate Corddry, who will play Larry, round out the cast. Furthermore, Adina Porterthe actress known for The 100 and Outer Banks will also take part in the series.
