And although the story of electric transport in our country still looks quite dubious, if only because of climatic conditions and distances, the authorities intend to work out a “green” direction. And this requires not only a component base, production capabilities and budgets, but also personnel.
Speaking at Innoprom, Moscow Polyrector Vladimir Miklushevsky emphasized that today it is necessary to focus on training engineers capable of “responding to new challenges in the automotive industry”. And in order to grow strong specialists, it is necessary to devote more time to practice.
– The design bureaus that are in the Moscow Polytech have long been working in KamAZ, in NAMI, and are now being founded in Avtotor. This is a base on which engineers can be trained – without exaggeration they will be able to revolutionize the auto industry in Russia, – said Mr. Miklushevsky.
He also emphasized that the Moscow Polytechnic University, together with industrial partners, has established the Advanced Engineering School. Its main task is to create platform solutions. And one of the major developments of the university, the speaker mentioned the first prototype – the unmanned Smart Shuttle, presented at the booth of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
