79 million tugriks – this is exactly how much the electric three-door MOZO Hero, launched by the Mongolian company Bars Motors, will cost. And this, frankly, is not cheap: in terms of rubles, the cost of the novelty is 1,400,000 “rubles”.
Bars Motors doesn’t even try to hide that the MOZO Hero project is solely a fashion project. The company doesn’t count on serious sales, but dreams of being known as the “first Mongolian automaker.” But why Bars Motors appeared at all, the AvtoVzglyad portal told in sufficient detail.
The first-born of the newly created brand turned out to be the Chinese microcar Hengrun HRS1, which was glued only with different nameplates. Under the hood of the novelty is a 44 hp electric motor, powered by a battery with a capacity of only 28 kWh. However, due to its small mass, the model can travel quite 305 kilometers.
But we repeat: only true patriots of Mongolia will want to buy a small three-door battery for 79 million tugriks … In their native China, the top-of-the-line version of this car costs half as much. And you have to be a real fan of your country to pay a significant amount just to be proud of the MOZO nameplate – “Mongolyn Oyuunlag Zon Olon”, that is, “Intellect of the Mongolian people.”
Obviously, the Russians will not be interested in a car called Hero under any circumstances. In addition, they will soon receive Chinese electric trains under the Moskvich brand, the release of which was personally blessed by Sergei Sobyanin.
