There is no shortage: which cars do Russians massively change during a crisis

The prolonged peak of the Russian car market, which in fact reached the bottom, forced our compatriots, completely stuck with the renewal of their personal fleet, to actively look for cars “on the side”. That is, not with “our everything” AVTOVAZ, and not even with the Chinese comrades. However, which is quite understandable: the “plucked” LADA Granta are both uninteresting and unsafe. And the diverse “Chinese” is a straight-up cat in a bag, who does not know how to behave. How motorized citizens get out of this situation, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.

So the hopes of Tolyatti did not come true: AvtoVAZ products, rooted in the last century, frankly did not go! If in peacetime the same “Grant” cost 3,000 units per month, then in two weeks from the sale of a strongly “truncated” version of the model there were only 257 buyers. And this despite the very frugal cost of “novelty”.

But used car sales flourished, and most importantly, most curiously, “right-hand drive”! Ferries from Japan are overloaded not only with analogs of LADA Largus, but also with no less scarce Kruzaks and even exotic kei cars for us. And judging by the pace of imports, all this wealth will soon arrive in the central regions of the country. However, now not only the “Japanese” lives on the Russian car market.

Sales from the UAE are in full swing, many are interested in Indian cars, not to mention the “Armenian license plates” and “cars” from Belarus. By the way, the latter has become a Klondike again for those who like to dig into second-hand.

However, all such purchases have certain (sometimes quite significant) flaws or at least difficulties in the acquisition process. About this, as well as the situation with used “Chinese”, “Japanese”, “Arabs”, “Indians”, “Belarusians” and “Armenians” with “Georgians” in general, the portal “AvtoVzglyad” tells in detail in the next issue of his podcast.

Listen – it will be interesting.
