Andrey Keller, a Russian scientist, deputy general manager of FSUE NAMI, became the head of the Automotive Mechatronics educational program. Under his leadership, young engineers will work on a project of an electric main tractor with energy-efficient components. Research will also be conducted into the development of various driver assistance systems.
Sergey Alyshev, a Russian industrial designer, became the leader of the Engineering Design program. Here students will develop the design of an A-class car. The project covers all phases of the designer’s work: from market analysis, customer needs to implementation of the layout and building a prototype.
Roman Rusinov, the winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, sports director of G-Drive Racing, became the mentor of the Race Engineering project. Together with him, the team will develop a hybrid power plant for the Russian sports prototype, which will be tested on sports circuits.
Finally, Pablo Iturralde was appointed head of the entire educational field. Behind him are 15 completed racing vehicle projects. Iturralde teams have won international competitions and set speed records.
