Russians began to actively buy new cars

According to JSC Electronic Passport, in the first week of the month, Russians bought 7342 cars, in the second – 7404, in the third – 8199 and in the fourth, as mentioned earlier – 9239. At the same time, LADA cars are in greatest demand: the share of AVTOVAZ increased from 26.4% to 32.6% from the beginning of the month. In fact, 3,011 people became happy owners of brand new Lads in the period from July 25 to 31.

This is probably due not only to the fact that Togliatti residents offered citizens simplified versions of Granta and Niva Legend at a reasonable price, but also to the fact that LADA participated in the state’s soft loan program, which offered a discount of 25% for residents of the Far East and 20% for everyone else. In comparison, AVTOVAZ’s closest competitors – the Korean couple Kia and Hyundai – are doing much worse, selling 931 and 776 cars respectively in the last week of July.

Meanwhile, the Chinese have set a new record: their share has reached 25.4% of the total market. Best of all, at the end of July, Geely cars were sold (742 units). Chery (639 units) is on the second line in the “heavenly” rating, Haval is on the third (530 units). It is worth noting that they also took 4th, 5th and 6th place in the overall standings. The seventh was the Renault company (445 units), which sold the rest, the eighth – Exeed (293 units), the ninth – Toyota (229 units) and the tenth – UAZ (208 units).
