The unusual Cybertruck electric pickup truck is suffering from a series of production delays due to supply chain issues. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, said that the company’s new car will go into production in mid-2023. However, he emphasized that The base model’s original price of $39,900 will change. At a meeting with shareholders, a billionaire commented it “a lot has changed” since the car was first announced in 2019 without revealing what the Cybertruck’s new cost will be.

Cybertruck should appear on the market in three versions, which are still confirmed. The second model with two engines will have a range of 480 km, accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 4.5 seconds and will cost $49,900. The $69,900 model is a three-engine pickup truck with a range of over 500 miles.

Is Cybertruck Really Coming in 2023?

At the moment, it is impossible to say if the Cybertruck will arrive before mid-2023. From history, it seems clear that Tesla’s unusually designed electric pickup is facing a number of challenges to reach the market.

Another issue is the number of bookings the car has, around 650,000 as of June 2020.
