Galaxy A53: Samsung’s best mid-range phone?

Samsung is investing in different smartphone lines to try and reach as many different audiences as possible, and the Galaxy A53 is an interesting proof of that. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner which is Super AMOLED and has a 120Hz refresh rate, but it also has a more modest Exynos 1280 processor, not very powerful but able to perform the most necessary functions every day. You can see some balance in the specs, but it’s important to keep an eye on the options on the market before paying around R$2,300 for it.

Precisely because the manufacturer has so many options, the Galaxy A53 might not be the best right now. The Galaxy A52S itself seems like the best option at the moment given that the specs are similar and the price is lower.

In any case, there are advantages in terms of battery, more than most other releases with 5000 mAh. 25W fast charging might seem like another plus, but the included charger only supports 15W.

In terms of games, you can enjoy the main games in the PlayStore, it’s just that you won’t have the best performance, and some games will run at lower quality or frame rates below 30fps, depending on your choice.

In this video, I comment on the important aspects to consider before buying the Galaxy A53. I comment on the differences from the predecessor Galaxy A52, make a brief camera comparison with the Galaxy S20 FE and explain the advantages and disadvantages of choosing this device.
