– The Russian Ministry of Digital Development has launched the Europrotocol Online service in the mobile application State Services Auto. With its help, motorists can report an accident without calling a police officer and filling out paper forms.

The department is convinced that Europrotocol Online can reduce the time for registering an accident under OSAGO by about half. Mainly due to the fact that its use does not make it necessary to visit the insurance company’s office, since certified data from the profiles of motorists at the National Office is automatically entered into the electronic document.

To use the new application, it is enough that only one of the participants in the accident has “Gosuslugi Avto” installed on his smartphone. The second participant in the traffic accident only has to confirm the correctness of the data entered in the electronic form via the link generated by the application. Most importantly, both participants in the accident confirmed state services data.

The other conditions for registering an accident online via Europrotocol are similar to those for registering a regular, “paper” Europrotocol: no more than two participants in the accident, no injuries, only vehicles are damaged. When registering the “Europrotocol Online”, you must indicate information about vehicles and CMTPL policy, describe the circumstances of the traffic incident, photograph the accident diagram and the scene itself, as well as explain disagreements between the participants and damage to the vehicle.
