A new taxi aggregator based on the departed Gett launched in Russia

In the arena – all the same, but only under a new personal. So the founder of RuMarket and the ex-head of Gett in Russia, Anatoly Smorgonsky, ran a new taxi aggregation service called Bibi. The mobile application can be downloaded and the service is distributed in more than 1000 cities of our country.

According to TASS, the new service will target the B2B segment and plans to capture Gett’s market share in the transportation segment. By the way, the staff includes former employees of the infamous Gett, who stopped operating in Russia.

The Bib service offers users bonuses and discounts, separate rates are available for business customers. However, this is unlikely to help the aggregator rise quickly in the segment where Yandex.Taxi is actually a monopolist.

Incidentally, not so long ago, another taxi operator, the Citymobil service, announced a “freeze” of its activities. And independent experts predict a massive return of the “bombs” to the country, which, however, are already working with power in individual regions.
