Problems in the logistics of auto parts caused by the “corona crisis”, which led in particular to a shortage, affected all car manufacturers, without exception. Someone stopped the factories and someone cut the product line. The Japanese Mazda also “grabbed grief”, but the company does not intend to lose any more sales.
Incidentally, Mazda’s operating loss from April to June 2022 was nearly $145 million. And all that, as already mentioned, due to a breakdown in the supply of spare parts from China. Now the Japanese are planning to drag production of parts out of the Middle Kingdom, where there is periodic collapse “thanks to” extraordinary outbreaks of the coronavirus and its effects. They won’t be able to fully do it anyway, unfortunately.
As for Mazda’s Russian plans, the brand’s factory is still on hiatus, although representatives of the brand are negotiating with partners to resume the components necessary for the production of cars.
