While new cars were more often imported from China (28.3%), Belgium (25.2%) and Germany (17.4%) at the start of the year, the top three changed in the second quarter. China significantly strengthened its position (80.6%), while South Korea (7%) and Japan (2.6%) broke through to second and third place.
In terms of used cars, Japan used to be on the first line and now (86.6% and 87.4%), Belarus is second (3.9% and 2.8%). But the “bronze”, which in the first quarter belonged to Germany (2.5%), was taken by the United States (2.3%).
We add that if at the beginning of the year new cars were mainly imported by legal entities, in July the share of “physicists” increased from 2% to 20%. There has been more “private” imports in the used car segment: here the figure rose from 90% to 99%.
