Russia and Belarus have launched a joint project for the import substitution of auto parts. In total, it is planned to organize 14 production facilities for different products.
Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko announced the launch of joint projects for the Belarus-1 TV channel. According to him, a large-scale production of auto parts in high demand is being prepared, both in the Belarusian and Russian markets. For example, lighting equipment will be produced at a company in the Minsk region and the assembly of braking systems and ring roller production will be set up in the Orsha district.
“Without waiting for credit sources, we start financing ourselves. If these funds arrive in time, we will simply add them to this investment pool,” said Mr Golovchenko.
